Claire Martin

Artistic Direction & Production

Claire Martin OBE has established herself as a tour de force on the UK jazz scene since turning professional at the age of 19. Since then she has released 23 albums as band leader for the Scottish based label Linn Records and Denmark based Stunt Records, winning multiple awards along the way, including Best Vocalist in the UK Jazz Awards seven times, a BASCA Gold Badge for Services to Music and in 2011 receiving an OBE for her Services to Jazz. Claire is a featured soloist in various European orchestras and big bands.

In 2020 Claire started ‘Soup to Nuts’ Productions with Chris Traves and has since gone on to produce a number of acclaimed jazz vocal albums.

Elaine Crouch

Strategy, Operations & Label Management

Elaine Crouch is a highly experienced project and label manager with a proven track record of ensuring successful delivery of creative projects through bespoke, practical strategies for securing funding, budget/risk and change management, and project evaluation. 

She has a wealth of relevant experience in the music industry gained from 8 years as label manager with Whirlwind Recordings and through her work as a freelance tour developer.

Elaine lectures in ‘Music Business’ at BIMM (Brighton), ‘Professional Development’ at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and ‘Funding Creative Projects’ at the Royal Academy of Music.

Emma Perry

Marketing & PR

With over 25 years in the music industry, Emma Perry has experience working in concert and festival production (Serious), international marketing (Universal International Classics & Jazz),  European promotion (Rykodisc/Hannibal) agency booking (Michael Nyman, Ivor Cutler) and project management (White Foundation International Saxophone Competition).  In 2008 she launched the international concert series Made in the UK with ESIP’s John Ellson, as well as the independent label Global Mix, which released critically acclaimed albums such as Guy Barker’s The Amadeus Project, winner of the 2008 Parliamentary Jazz Award for best album.  More recently she has been working in UK marketing and PR with artists such as Trish Clowes, the bassist Avishai Cohen, Jean Toussaint and Cleveland Watkiss as well as independent labels Banger Factory Records, Ubuntu Music and Whirlwind Recordings. 

A fluent French speaker, Emma studied French and Music at Goldsmith’s College, University of London and has an MA in Arts Management from City University, London.

Nadja von Massow

Creative & Business Development

Nadja von Massow is a creative strategist, designer and artist consultant. After a two-decade career of heading digital and creative teams at leading Marketing agencies and incorporating nadworks ltd. in 2012 along the way, her focus has turned exclusively to working with musicians and music organisations since 2019. As artist manager and creative director Nadja’s clients on both sides of the pond include vibes player Joe Locke, Grammy winner Geoffrey Keezer, Claire Martin OBE, LSO Live, Raul Midón, the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, members of the Juilliard String Quartet, Ian Shaw, Black Lives in Music, Tim Garland, Terreon Gully, Mike Lindup, Geneva Music Festival, Classical:NEXT, ATX Chamber Music and Jazz, the National Youth Jazz Collective and many more, including various North American and European record labels. 

Nadja is also a passionate educator and is currently teaching web development at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow.
