ECN Music, along with the wider jazz community, are saddened to hear that Ubuntu Management Group Ltd t/a Ubuntu Music will officially cease trading on 31 July 2025. We understand that many artists may feel uncertain about their options and possible next steps, and are concerned about the future of their releases.

As a practical solution, ECN Music can offer a simple music migration option, exclusive to artists who have released their music via Ubuntu Music: through our partnership with Proper Music, we are able to provide an easy transition from current music distribution via The Orchard to Proper, covering both physical inventory and digital distribution. We are working hand-in-hand with Sam Carelse to ensure that your music is handled with maximum care and minimal disruption.
