We’re absolutely delighted to share the news that Mark Kavuma – an exceptional artist and long-time ECN Music collaborator – has been nominated for Instrumentalist of the Year at the Jazz FM Awards 2025 with PPL and PRS for Music.
Mark’s artistry, energy and unmistakable sound have made him one of the most vital voices on the UK jazz scene today. As a trumpeter, composer and bandleader, he continues to shape and inspire with every project he takes on – and this nomination is a well-earned recognition of just that.
It’s been a joy working alongside Mark, not only as an artist but also in partnership with his label, Banger Factory Records. The label’s output reflects everything we admire about Mark’s creative vision – bold, joyful and always with something to say.
At ECN Music, we feel proud to be supporting both Mark and Banger Factory as they continue to grow and reach new audiences. We’re excited for what lies ahead and look forward to building on what’s already been a fantastic working relationship.
