Anmol Mohara is a London-based Nepali percussionist, composer and lyricist dedicated to bringing traditional Nepali music into a contemporary, global context. Influenced by artists such as Trilok Gurtu, Oumou Sangaré and Nitin Sawhney, he blends Nepali musical traditions with jazz and world music. Trained at the Nepal Music Center and later the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (graduated 2023), Anmol has won major UK drumming competitions and performed at leading venues including Ronnie Scott’s and the Eventim Apollo. His collaborators include Nicolas Meier and Gareth Lockrane, and he was featured on Heartcore Records’ Heartcore for Nepal project.
